3 - 5 years w/caregiver

In Honor of the Solar Eclipse: Moonstruck (1987) When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie, that’s amore. When the world seems to shine like you've had too much wine, that's amore. Romantic comedy stars Cher as Loretta Castorini, an Italian-American widow and bookkeeper from Brooklyn, who finds herself in a bit of a pickle when she falls for her fiancé’s brother. Cher and Olympia Dukakis received Oscars for their performances, as did John Patrick Shanley for his screenplay.  Rated PG: 1 hour 42 minutes.

Parents and their children are invited to drop-in for informal chess play. Chess sets will be provided.

Join Ermin Siljkovic (Recycling Coordinator at the Orange County Division of Environmental Facilities and Services) and discover the secrets behind what can be recycled and unravel the intricate process of turning waste into valuable resources. Join us for an engaging exploration where participants will not only learn about the importance of recycling but also gain insight into the entire recycling journey – from collection to sorting, processing, and ultimately transforming discarded items into new and useful products.

Come and meet new friends and join in on a game that is played all over the world.  Mahjong enthusiasts of all skill levels are invited to play every Tuesday from 10am to 1pm. The sessions are open-ended and participants can play as many or as few games as they wish.  Players with mahjong sets are encouraged to bring them, as the Library has only a limited number to loan. This program is free, ongoing and open to players from all communities.

18 - 35 months w/caregiver

Improve problem solving, language development and motor skills while digging into tubs of different materials.

2 – 5 w/caregiver

Have fun while learning some conversational Spanish with Spanish teacher, Joyce Schenkman.

3-5 w/caregiver.

This class builds on the principles learned in Conversational Italian I. You must have attended Conversational Italian I or have knowledge of the Italian language for this class. Attendance at all sessions are storngly encouraged.

Branson will back this Spring to hear you read a book. If you can't yet read, a caregiver can read to you and the dog!
