Trent Schroyerwill discuss his book "Beyond Western Economics". The book argues that modern western economic culture emerges from a particular cultural history and that it is neither a globally universalizable or a sustainable culture. After the 'great recession', the ongoing dominance of Wall Street, and corporate monopolies over market systems, the down sides of this culture are becoming all too real in the west.
