The film follows a Chinese American woman named Billi, who learns her grandmother, Nai Nai, has only a short while left to live.

AWPL Classic Monday: Charade (1963) Is Anyone Really Who They Seem To Be?  Stanley Donen’s suspense thriller/romantic comedy stars Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn, and features Walter Matthau, James Coburn, George Kennedy, Dominique Minot, Ned Glass and Jacques Marin.

In Honor of Holocaust Remembrance Day: Confessions of a Nazi Spy (1939) Spy political thriller directed by Anatole Litvak  and the first explicitly anti-Nazi film to be produced by a major Hollywood studio. Stars Edward G. Robinson, Francis Lederer, George Sanders, Paul Lukas, and a large cast of German actors, including some who had emigrated from their country after the rise of Adolf Hitler.

The Lost Daughter (2021) Maggie Gyllenhaal’s directorial debut: a psychological drama,  based Elena Ferrante’s 2006 novel, stars Olivia Colman, Dakota Johnson, Jessie Buckley, Paul Mescal, Dagmara Domińczyk, Jack Farthing, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Peter Sarsgaard and Ed Harris; a woman's beach vacation takes a dark turn when she begins to confront the troubles of her past.  Rated R: 2 hours, 1 minute. 

In Honor of the Solar Eclipse: Moonstruck (1987) When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie, that’s amore. When the world seems to shine like you've had too much wine, that's amore. Romantic comedy stars Cher as Loretta Castorini, an Italian-American widow and bookkeeper from Brooklyn, who finds herself in a bit of a pickle when she falls for her fiancé’s brother.

AWPL Classic Monday: Harvey (1950) Comedy based on Mary Chase's Pulitzer Prize Winning 1944 play, and stars James Stewart and Josephine Hull. The story centers on a man whose best friend is a puca named Harvey, a 6 ft 3+1⁄2 in tall white invisible rabbit, and the ensuing debacle when the man's sister tries to have him committed to a sanatorium.  Not Rated:  1 hour 44 minutes.
