Read or listen to Ta-Nehisi Coates's Between the World and Me, a New York Times bestseller for nearly two years and winner of the 2015 National Book Award for nonfiction. Coates presents a meditation on race in America as well as a personal story.  Beautifully written (and spoken by the author in audiobook), Coates’s seminal work is framed as a letter to his teenage son.
