Our Summer Programs are Here
Registration starts online Saturday, June 20th, 8am, for most programs.
Programs are open to teens in the WVCSD with a valid AWPL card. Child must be specified age by beginning of program.
Join Our Teen Summer Reading Challenge!
Turn up the heat and dive into your perfect summer read! From July 1 – August 31, Albert Wisner Public Library is using Beanstack for the teen summer reading challenge. If you’re using a computer to track your progress log use the Beanstack website, and if you’re using a phone or tablet to track your progress download the Beanstack app. Whether it’s a page-turning thriller, an uplifting audiobook, or a comforting memoir, celebrate the stories that make your heart happy this summer.
As you explore new genres or revisit old favorites, you will earn new badges for logging your reading. Each badge you earn will get you tickets that you can choose different prizes to win in the final raffle! The more tickets you earn, the better chance you have at winning some of the great prize options. The winners will be announced in the first week of September.
