The Writer's Group meets every Wednesday, from 2 to 4pm in the Board Room. Bring in 6 copies of up to four pages, typed and double spaced, to be critiqued by fellow writers in a friendly, constructive manner. All forms of prose acceptable; no poetry please! This is a non-instructional program for adults; new members always welcome!

Lets celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by making pinatas. This project will take 3 weeks. Registration for week 1 registers you for all 3 weeks.

Brendan Delaney is an IT specialist who successfully won a Whistleblower case against an Electronic Health Records company, which is the first of its kind in the United States. Brendan discusses the case vis-a-vis patient safety issues he encountered using EHRs.

Professional artist Pat Foxx will guide participants in the watercolor painting of an autumn landscaped which will be sketched for each individual. All materials, paper, paints, brushes, are provided by the presenter.

Local artist, Patricia Foxx, loves  working with watercolors because they allow for spontaneity and luminosity. She aims  to make dynamic abstract representations of the natural world filtered through her sense of balance, color and love of nature. Her work has been exhibited in the Hudson Valley and beyond.
